september jams
somehow september is already here which means it's time for a playlist refresh. as always, i'm a bit of a mess when it comes to deciding what kind of music it is that i feel like listening during the day. how are you supposed to be expected to listen to the same genre when you wake up and put on music, listen on the long ride from ocean beach to work & back plus all day at work? not to mention that i sometimes am actually home to cook dinner so i'll need music for that + what if i clean my room or want to draw at night? these things all need soundtracks. what we have here is more of a hodgepodge of the songs i'm addicted to this month. feel like i should call out three specific songs on here - "last straw" by jack's mannequin - not at all relevant in this day and age considering he's andrew mcmahon in the wilderness now but it's an oldie and a goodie so it goes on the playlist.
